Ellery's sitting on her own!

Ellery can now sit by herself! She's getting to be such a big girl. It seems like something new is happening every few days. Other than that, there isn't much going on around here. Over the weekend we went to the Outdoor Show in the Quad Cities. It was more exciting for Jason and Grandpa than it was for me, Ellery and Grandma. Ellery did have fun riding in her stroller for a few hours. I'll never understand why strangers feel the need to touch a baby during flu season! Twice someone grabbed her hand while we were there...yuck! I never thought about stuff like that before, but I do now. Jason bought an owl call, so we got to hear a lot of owls for the rest of the weekend. He even got Ellery in on the action. I keep saying that she'll be able to fish and probably hunt circles around every little boy her age. We spent Sunday holed up in the house since it was storming outside again. All of us spent the day in our pj's or sweats.
