A BIG Milestone!

Tonight Ellery went "poo poo" in her potty for the first time! It was very exciting! This isn't a picture of her, I don't want her to hate me someday for posting a picture of her on the potty. For the last week we've been reading the book A Potty for Me and talking about going pee pee and poo poo in the potty. Up until tonight all attempts had been unsuccessful. Twice she's peed in the bathroom floor. When she sits on the potty she wants me to shut the door and wait outside...so I didn't know until after the fact that she had gotten off the potty to go pee on the floor. BUT, tonight was different. We had a little chat before I put her on the potty and SHE DID IT!!! Yeah for Ellery! We told her how proud we were and rewarded her with Jelly beans. I'll keep you posted how it goes from here on out. The only bad thing is that we are going to Missouri next weekend, so potty training might have to wait until we get back!.....
