Today Auntie Em and Reagan picked us up and we all headed out to Grandma and Grandpa's house to make gingerbread houses. We decided to take the easy route and use graham crackers since the kids are so little. They each stayed interested long enough to complete one full house! Not bad for two year olds! Here are a bunch of pictures from our morning.
Ellery was very interested in what "Ham" was doing.
Then she got into the action herself. She said, "mom, I'm helping Ham".
Very excited to be making her own house!
Concentration!
Then she tried the frosting that she was using....
This stuff is yummy!
Then mommy decided to help build the house.
My friend Beth requested "belly pictures"....so these are for you Beth. Here I am at 26 weeks 6 days pregnant with baby Jack.
Full of Cheer....OR...you could say Full of Jack!
Ellery and Reagan with their finished houses.
Ellery's first gingerbread house!
After a long morning of playing with Reagan, making gingerbread houses and eating a yummy lunch, Ellery snuggled up with Grandpa.
It's a good thing that its our year to stay home for Christmas. It's supposed to get very nasty weather wise in the next few days. We got more snow last night, probably 3 or 4 inches and we're supposed to get 1-2 inches or rain, 1/2 inch of ice and possibly more snow on top of that all before Christmas. I'm happy all our presents are under the tree wrapped, so I don't have to go out in the nastiness! Jason has to work tomorrow, but then he is off for Christmas. We'll be spending Christmas at my parents house with the rest of my family. This will probably be my last post before Christmas, so Merry Christmas from our home to yours!
