A Very Merry Christmas!

We had a great Christmas in Iowa this year! It was our year to stay here, which was a good thing since the weather was so horrible. Jason had Thursday and Friday off work, so we had 4 days to enjoy daddy! Here is a picture of Ellery in front of our tree on Christmas Eve. We forgot to take a picture of her in front of our tree before sending all the presents to my parents house and Jason's family in Missouri, so the only presents under the tree are Ellery's gifts from Mema and Papa.

We headed out to my mom and dad's house on Christmas Eve. All of us spent the night out there, so Ellery and Reagan were together on Christmas morning! Jason and I were able to snap a photo of what Santa left for Ellery before she got up! Santa did a great job this year. He brought Ellery Dora's Magical Welcome House with all the furniture and accessories! She must have been on the good list! Ellery is obsessed with Dora, so we had a very Dora Christmas!

Ellery after seeing what Santa brought her. She was excited, but as you can see, she was also VERY excited about the Dora cup that was in her stocking!

Ellery got a PEZ dispenser in her stocking from Grandma and Grandpa. It wouldn't be Christmas at the Land's if someone didn't get a PEZ dispenser! Someday Ellery will inherit the PEZ collection that my parents started for me when I was little! LOL So, she'll need to find room for several hundred PEZ dispensers....strange....I know! :)

Reagan, Ellery and I playing with the Dora dollhouse Christmas morning. Every year my parents give us new jammies to wear Christmas Eve night...Ellery and I picked out mine! I too had footed 1 piece fleece jammies! LOL AND they were pepto bismol pink with bunny feet! Does it get any better than that!?! I had been joking that I would hang out all day in my footed fleece jammies like Ellery does if I had a pair...WELL...we found a pair! Actually, I have them on again right now! LOL They are comfortable and warm, so I don't care how ridiculous I look!

Ellery eating Daddy's chocolate reindeer.

Ellery playing with Diego's Jeep that she got from mommy and daddy.

A firetruck from Grandma and Grandpa!

An aerial view of Christmas morning. By this time we were almost done opening gifts!

I love this picture even though it's blurry. Daddy took the picture of Ellery from upstairs. You can see how happy she is and how much fun she's having!

Reagan and Ellery decided to go upstairs to see what Uncle Jas/Daddy was doing.

Now that's some Hawkeye gold! Grandpa and Matt each got some new Iowa gear!

This is the only picture that Jason is in on Christmas day, and it's the back of his head! I feel terrible about that! He did all the picture taking and video taping for the day, except this one photo I snapped of Betty, Ellery and Jason playing with Play Doh.

We had a wonderful Christmas! We must have all been good this year. Ellery got so much that we still haven't had a chance to play with everything yet! Every morning she wakes up and asks if she can play with her dollhouse. She also loves the Dora backpack from Mema and Papa, her new firetruck from Grandma and Grandpa, her pig from Grandma Joanne and Grandpa Jack and all the puzzles she got from Auntie Em, Uncle Matt and Mom and Dad. And that's just naming some of her favorites! I was one lucky girl this year, I got everything on my list! My favorites are my new Coach diaper bag, Ugg boots and red microwave and toaster oven! Thank you everyone! Jason got exactly what he asked for this year too...money! On our way home from Missouri at Thanksgiving he bought a new Remington 22-250 with scope. So, he bought his gift before Christmas and now it's paid for! Baby Jack even got some new clothes on Christmas morning. We are a blessed little family. We're all healthy, happy and doing well. Now we're gearing up for a new year and a new addition to the family!
