OH BOY!

Oh boy, Oh boy...we're having a Boy! We found out earlier today that I'm expecting a little boy. He's had a name for almost 3 years, we've just been waiting for his arrival! Here are pictures of baby Jack. So, let's take a peak into my uterus...LOL...sorry couldn't resist....

The first picture is of his hand and leg. The second picture is of his little face and arm. At this point in time he looks a little alien like... :)

Here are more pictures of his face and arms.

His little spine and foot. I'm sure he'll have big feet and hands like Ellery.

Two profile pictures.
The ultrasound tec and our nurse practitioner said that everything looked great, normal and healthy. All great things to hear. They left my due date at March 24th. So, I'm 17 weeks tomorrow. I'm all set for another month...next time I'll probably get my H1N1 flu shot. We debated about me getting the vaccine, but my great grandmother died of this same strain of flu in 1914. She was pregnant, got the flu, delivered the baby and died shortly thereafter. So, as you can imagine, my mom felt pretty strongly about me getting this vaccine. We're all getting the seasonal flu shot, it'll be Jason's first time ever getting the shot. But, we don't want him bringing anything home to Ellery, me or the new baby....better safe than sorry. I would never forgive myself if we didn't prevent something that was preventable!
Over the weekend we took our yearly trip to the pumpkin patch. Last year we were able to wear t-shirts, but not this year. Winter is a comin! I cringe to think what we're in for this year. We went to different pumpkin patch this year, we chose this one because they have a train to ride on and we knew Ellery would love it! We picked out our pumpkins, rode the train, saw the animals (Ellery would tell you "me no like the animals in the barn", the ducks and bunnies were ok, but not the animals in the barn!), and got some pumpkin cookies and caramel corn. Although she's not in any of the photos, grandma went with us too! It was chilly, but worth the trip!

Our family with our 75 pounds of pumpkins that we picked out!

In search of the perfect pumpkins....
