Three years ago today on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River Jason and I were married. It was a sunny, chilly yet wonderful day! We were lucky enough to get married in one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. In person, the view would take your breath away. Jason and I knew this was where we wanted to get married from the first time I took him there.
It's been a busy a whirlwind romance to say the least. We met the first weekend of January 2006, at the Denver Fly Fishing Show. We each had a booth on the same row at the show. We hung out one evening and had lunch one day that weekend. That week we talked on the phone for hours everynight. The following weekend I flew to Dallas to see Jason again. In the next 6 months I made trips to Dallas, Missouri, California, Tennessee and Alaska to see Jason. I was spliting my time between Iowa and wherever Jason was. In May, while on a trip to Tennesse Jason asked me to marry him. We were married 5 months later....2 months after that we got news that would change our lives as we knew it...we were expecting our first baby. Ellery was born 10 months after the wedding, and life has never been so wonderful! Now, Ellery's two and we just found out we have a baby boy joining our family in March...what more could you wish for?!?
For those of you who weren't there, here are some pictures of the big day!
