We had a great weekend here, a little cold, but nice. On Friday night we had the Land Eye Center Christmas Party. Every year my dad takes all of his employees and their spouses to dinner at a German restaurant near their house. After dinner we all head to mom and dad's for dessert. The last 2 years Reagan and Ellery got to go too! Last year Emily and I left before dinner because the babies we acting up. I was hopeful that this year we'd make it through dinner....BUT...no such luck. Jason and I got our meals to go! :) Ellery usually goes to bed about 7:30 and it was about a quarter after 7 when we left. We had her back at grandma and grandpa's house, bathed and in bed before everyone arrived for dessert. Unfortunately, we didn't get very many pictures because we were running late for dinner. I really wanted a family picture for our Christmas card. Reagan and Ellery both looked so cute, but I didn't get a picture of them together. On Saturday morning we all got up early to head down to Davenport. After waiting for months, grandpa's new truck had finally arrived at the dealership. Ellery and Reagan played in the truck the entire time grandpa was signing papers. I think they gave it their seal of approval. Grandpa ordered the built in DVD player for Reagan and Ellery to watch movies on long road trips with grandma and grandpa. After that we did a little shopping and had lunch at TGIFridays. After lunch the babies were worn out so we headed home.Sunday was a big day! I turned 30! YIKES! :) Jason, Ellery and I went to lunch at Applebee's, our selection is limited in Clinton. After lunch we did a little shopping. Jason got me a beautiful white gold and pave diamond right hand ring, I LOVE IT! Thank you sweetie! We headed back out to mom and dad's house so that Jason could do a little hunting. He ended up killing two deer yesterday afternoon, so he was excited. I should have taken a picture of that too....but I didn't have my camera last night. We had a spaghetti dinner with mom, dad and Dr. Moore. I had been wanting spaghetti all day, so it was perfect. It was a nice, quiet day which was perfect. We had talked about going skiing or into Chicago for a few days, but I ultimately decided a quiet day with family was what I wanted. It's been too cold to leave to house!
Ellery has a few new "tricks" too. When you ask her what the cow says she says, "moooooooooooo". It's hysterical. She has also started smacking her lips when you ask her to give you a kiss.
This weekend we also discussed our family vacation in February and we've had a complete change of plans. Instead of spending a week in the Florida Keys we're all going to head to Steamboat Springs, CO, for a week of skiing. I think we're all a little more excited about this trip than we were the other. Grandma has volunteered to stay in everyday and babysit while the rest of us go skiing! It'll be nice to be back in Colorado for a few days!
Mom and I are headed back to Davenport this afternoon for a little more Christmas shopping, thank goodness we're almost done! We're supposed to get another big storm in the next few days. We're supposed to get 2-5 more inches of snow. We've reached the point where we'll have a snow covered ground until about March!

Happy Birthday! That's a big one. What an awesome present from your hubby. It's great that you get to spend so much time with all of your family now that you live close by. And how cool if your sister get that house.
